This wedge type tool post has a wedge action clamp that pulls the tool holder against the face of the post and is much stronger then other posts that use a set screw, Great for heavier cutting and turning. Cut-off tools can take a deeper cut with better finishes and longer life. This post can take a beating with out loosening the wedge clamp. [Also available in a extended version]
